If you have not taken a tour of Avondale Brewing Company, you should! The building that the brew house resides in is rich with Birmingham history not to mention the Avondale Brewery mascot is the legendary Miss Fancy. She is the magnificent elephant who lived at the Avondale Zoo in the early 20th century. There was even a book wrote about her by Daniel Martin and fortunately our local Theatre Downtown has decided to turn the book into a play that will begin showing this week! The book and the play focuses on the true story of her life and the bond that was formed between Miss Fancy and her trainer, Mr. Todd and how they forever changed each other lives. Truly a must see! Opening night will be on September 15th at 8:00 PM, and you should buy your tickets in advance!  You will have opportunity to join the cast and other play go-ers for horderves and wine following the play. If you are unable to attend, it will run through October 1st, full schedule available here.

The magic of Birmingham seems to unfold all the time! This is a special weekend coming up and we hope you are able to partake in the interactive fun! Getting out and supporting local is always a feel good experience. Especially when you shop Brannon Honda for your new vehicle!
